Based in Iceland, Carolina Salas is the owner and founder of SALAS Stúdíó.
“SALAS Stúdíó is an indie production company dedicated to curating and bringing to life uniquely authored narratives. With a passion for storytelling that transcends conventional boundaries, we specialize in producing compelling and thought-provoking content that reflects the diverse voices and perspectives of independent creators.”
Carolina´s work in film, video, and new media has always been guided by the passionate belief that film holds the power to challenge any perspective and to move and inspire us as a collective.

Carolina´s prior works as producer or co-producer include the feature film Everything in the End by Mylissa Fitzsimmons, the feature documentaries Home Again by Dögg Mósesdóttir, Miðgardakirkja by Nikoli Galitzine ( In production ), Women, Dreams and Bread by Svanlaug Jóhannsdóttir and Sigrún Vala Valgeirsdóttir ( In postproduction) and the short films Roque, Fortuna, Omagbon, LjósÖld, Islandia, Storm Room, The Silence of the Fish as well as a variety of commercial and service jobs.

SALAS Stúdíó provides audiovisual and production services internationally.
